We are looking for candidates who have experience in the full data lifecycle, including ingesting and cleansing raw data, building robust data models, and delivering actionable insights through Power BI. A Microsoft certification relevant to the role is highly desirable, such as DP-600: Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric or PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, or a comparable certification in data engineering, data warehousing, or business intelligence. Please provide examples of your work, such as a link to a GitHub repository with documented code, a personal website with project summaries and architecture diagrams, or a published Power BI report that showcases your skills.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Microsoft Fabric Developer, I will need you to review business use cases to identify the underlying problems and the solutions required. You will develop Excel input templates with validations and build and maintain data pipelines, utilizing data pipelines or Dataflow Gen 2, from the Fabric Lakehouse files into the Power BI semantic model, primarily supporting the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating Power BI reports in a timely manner for stakeholders and clearly documenting the processes and procedures utilized.
Description
This is a 6-month contract position that falls outside of IR35, offering a competitive rate of £650.00 per day. The role is predominantly remote, with the expectation of accessing our London office once a week or fortnight.
