Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Windows 10 & 11
- Knowledge of Office 365
- Experience in supporting general PC/Laptop hardware, particularly HP Elitebooks
- Flexibility to travel within a defined area to assist home workers and operate at other sites, if necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer focus, prioritizing customer experience while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work independently, taking accountability and ownership of daily responsibilities while contributing to team objectives

Responsibilities
As a User Support Technician, I will be the face of Fujitsu, working directly with end users on the HMRC account. My primary role includes delivering face-to-face IT support at the Connect IT Bar within the HMRC Regional Centre in Edinburgh. I will collaborate with fellow technicians to provide support for network devices, PCs, laptops, Surface Pros, telephony devices, and other locally installed peripherals. Additionally, I will assist with AV setup in meeting rooms and perform regular checks to ensure that all meeting rooms are fully operational.
I will manage and deliver local moves and changes on-site, develop strong relationships with HMRC staff across various business areas, provide support to relevant Fujitsu and HMRC third parties, and offer feedback on perceived issues. My goal is to ensure that new services are effectively engaged, minimizing potential problems before they arise.
