Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Firewalls
- Management of VPNs / Remote Access Systems
- A proven track record as a network engineer in an operational environment.
- A good breadth of technical skills across an enterprise environment, ideally being able to demonstrate skills in Network fault finding, traffic flow analysis and firewall configuration.
- Experience with NGFW: SRX, Cisco ASA, Fortigate
- Self-motivation with the ability to identify improvements for process and best practice
- Ability to work well within a team and develop positive working relationships with other resolver teams
- Clear communication skills when interacting with peers, management, other resolver teams, and customers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be willing and eligible to undergo high level security clearance
- Desirable: Knowledge of BGP, NAT/PAT, VLAN configuration
Responsibilities
- Support an established DMZ by maintaining and developing network devices and their traffic flows.
- Collaborate with other SMEs in the 3rd line support team.
- Work closely with Continuity Engineers, providing relevant expertise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
