Requirements
Must:
- Experience supporting business applications in a virtualised environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies: Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra, SSO and networking fundamentals.
- Background in application installation, configuration, upgrades and patching.
- Understanding of SQL Server (IaaS/PaaS) with appetite to develop further.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Awareness of change control and governance processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to non-Microsoft cloud platforms (desirable).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and virtualisation technologies (desirable).
- PowerShell scripting for automation and system management (desirable).
- Experience working within multi-company or shared-services environments (desirable).

Responsibilities
- Administer and support business applications built on Microsoft technologies including Azure, Windows Server, Entra, Active Directory and SQL Server.
- Manage and resolve escalated ServiceNow incidents and service requests.
- Install, configure and support new applications based on business requirements through to go-live.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation within the internal information store.
- Monitor applications, apply updates and security patches, and escalate issues where required.
- Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Log application change requests in ServiceNow and present at weekly change board meetings.
- Support planned out-of-hours work such as upgrades and security patching.
Description
We are a leading organisation partnered with Fuel Recruitment, seeking a Cloud Applications Analyst to join our expanding IT function. This role is vital to the Cloud Applications team, focusing on the administration, development, and support of core business applications. Youll contribute to day-to-day operations, project delivery, and technical troubleshooting in a modern Microsoft-based environment. We require office attendance in Hinckley at least once a week.
