Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Technical Solutions Architect or similar senior architecture role
- Strong experience with outsourced IT services and enterprise-scale infrastructures
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, IaaS, SaaS, M365)
- Proven track record designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical governance skills
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a cohesive technical architecture and roadmap aligned to business strategy
- Act as Technical Design Authority, leading design governance, review, and approval of IT solutions
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data domains
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs
- Advise senior IT and business leaders on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, AI, and hyperautomation
- Produce architecture models, technical specifications, and solution documentation
- Drive transition from on-premise and data centre environments to cloud-first digital services
- Promote reuse of existing technical assets, frameworks, and methodologies
Description
We are excited to offer a permanent Technical Solutions Architect role within our large, complex IT environment that is undergoing a cloud-first, AI-enabled, and hyper-automated transformation. This position provides the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide architecture, influence senior stakeholders, and design secure, scalable solutions that support critical public-facing services.
