Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with ColdFusion/CFML (Adobe ColdFusion or Lucee).
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of REST API development, integrations, and modern application architecture.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) and front-end best practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise ColdFusion/CFML applications across customer-facing and internal platforms.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with new services and modern architecture components.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Support the migration and refactoring of legacy ColdFusion code to modern development standards.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, implement fixes, and ensure best practices in coding and testing.
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Description
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join our leading global business that supports major brands. This is a contract position based in London, requiring on-site presence twice a week for a duration of 3 months, with a competitive market rate and outside IR35.
