Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in Cyber Security Auditing
- Strong knowledge of NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
- Familiarity with ISO 27000 series, NIST Cyber Security & Risk Management Frameworks
- Understanding of legacy IA standards and NCSC guidance
- Knowledge of MOD security frameworks (JSP 453, JSP 440, JSP 902, DEFCON 659A)
- Technical understanding of Defensive Cyber principles
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Secure Systems
- Proficient in Network & Cloud Security, System Hardening
- Knowledge of Cryptographic Controls (PKI, Data at Rest/In Transit)
- Experience in Protective Monitoring and Security Assurance
- Essential certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
- Desirable membership of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec)
- Professional Registration via the UK Cyber Security Council for Audit and Assurance
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cyber security audits aligned to NCSC CAF and other recognised frameworks
- Assess organisational security posture across the full system lifecycle
- Ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Produce clear, actionable audit reports and recommendations for stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and assurance reviews with business leaders and project teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients in developing secure systems
- Manage complex security risks
- Lead day-to-day client engagement and deliver high-quality security audits
Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Auditor to join our high-performing Security Practice in Bristol, specializing in Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) compliance and assurance. You will work across multiple projects within both public and private sector organizations, and your role will involve identifying new opportunities and contributing to presales activities. Due to the secure nature of the projects, UK SC Clearance is required as well as sole UK National status.
