Requirements
Must:
- I have 5+ years of professional experience in C++.
- I possess a strong background in GPU programming and performance optimization.
- I have a solid understanding of state-based systems architecture.
- I have experience delivering real-time 3D solutions using Unreal Engine, focusing on C++ development rather than blueprints.
- I can demonstrate the ability to write and create shaders from scratch.
Responsibilities
- I will develop new features and enhancements for a real-time 3D platform using Unreal Engine.
- I will write clean, optimized C++ code for complex systems.
- I will work with GPU programming to deliver high-performance rendering solutions.
- I will contribute to the design and implementation of state-based systems.
- I will collaborate with artists and designers to integrate technical solutions into production workflows.
- I will debug, profile, and optimize existing code to ensure stability and performance.
Description
We are seeking an experienced contract Unreal Developer to join our leading creative studio, which is further evolving its 3D real-time platform. This role focuses on building high-performance, scalable solutions within Unreal Engine, working closely with our talented team of engineers and designers. The contract is for 5-6 months, with the potential for extension. Ideally, we prefer candidates based within proximity to London.
