Requirements
Must:
- Strong software QA experience, with a focus on mobile iOS automation
- Fluent with XCUITest and accessibility identifier strategies
- Experience with API contract testing, Pact, JSON Schema or equivalent
- eCommerce or retail background is a plus
- Multi-year hands-on Detox experience, with problem-solving capabilities in complex situations
- Understanding of Detoxs interaction with the iOS run loop and React Native
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or Bitrise for running iOS test suites
- Proven methodology for testing payment edge cases including card declines and network timeouts
Responsibilities
- Architect and build automated test suites across iOS, Android, web, and REST APIs from scratch
- Build and maintain payment testing infrastructure including Stripe test mode and WireMock fixtures
- Configure and own the iOS CI pipeline end to end, handling versioning and concurrency failure modes
- Embed testability into the product process prior to feature development
- Establish QA standards across the engineering team, including contract testing guidelines
- Own the full bug lifecycle and drive automated test gating for every PR and release
