Requirements
Must:
- Strong industry experience in end-to-end machine learning projects, from data wrangling and model building to deployment and monitoring.
- Confident teaching ability, with experience in formally teaching, mentoring, or coaching technical teams.
- A clear understanding of the mathematical theories behind machine learning algorithms, including linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Practical knowledge of tools such as FastAPI, MLflow, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex technical ideas for learners with mixed abilities.
- Bonus points for experience with NLP/LLMs, Computer Vision or Generative AI, formal teaching qualifications, or EPA assessor experience, as well as hands-on exposure to responsible AI or prompt engineering.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching sessions covering the entire machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring at scale.
- Explain the mathematical foundations behind machine learning models in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey in collaboration with Learner Success Coaches.
- Contribute to content and product development by creating learning materials, labs, and workshops.
- Work closely with Product and AI teams to expand the AI learning portfolio across apprenticeships, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives.
- Ensure that all delivery meets the standards expected by Ofsted, ESFA, and other awarding bodies.
