Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience developing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Good understanding of Azure services, especially those used in integration and automation.
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Familiarity with ALM, solution deployment, and environment management.
- Ability to write and debug Power Fx, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices (desirable).
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven).
- Build automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate.
- Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and other cloud services.
- Build and manage Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL data models.
- Develop and maintain custom connectors and REST API integrations.
- Support full lifecycle delivery: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Ensure solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance user experience.
- Stay up to date with Power Platform and Azure best practices.
Description
We seek an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, build, and enhance business applications across our organization. You will play a key role in modernizing processes, improving data accessibility, and delivering scalable low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services. This is an excellent opportunity to shape digital transformation and work closely with stakeholders across multiple business units. The position is based in Derby on a hybrid work model (3 days on-site) and is a permanent role with a salary of up to £50,000.
