Requirements
Must:
- I possess advanced knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, VPNs, load balancing).
- I have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- I have experience with FortiNet firewalls and Cisco switches (including CLI configuration).
- I am proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as AWS and Azure.
- I have experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- I am familiar with implementing Cisco security and firmware updates.
- I have the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- I will manage and optimise network infrastructure, including virtual networks, cloud infrastructure, and WAN technologies.
- I will configure and maintain firewalls, routers, load balancers, and switches.
- I will deploy security and operational updates in line with business guidelines.
- I will monitor network performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- I will collaborate with infrastructure and security engineers to align on requirements.
- I will support and educate helpdesk staff on network-related issues.
- I may participate in out-of-hours work as required by the role.
