To be successful in this essential role, I require candidates to have excellent digital, stakeholder, change, and project management skills. I’m looking for individuals with well-developed experience in digital projects, data flows, business processes, and the implementation and configuration of systems. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of software applications, databases, IT projects, and service management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to drive change sustainably and encourage diverse stakeholders on our journey of innovation and digitalisation. I need someone who is confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to research, benchmark, scope, design, implement, and evaluate project delivery under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will join my Commercial Systems and Management Information team, which serves over 200 staff worldwide and responds to wider FCDO and cross-government needs. As a curious, solutions-oriented, data-driven Senior Analyst, you will work across the Commercial directorate, including overseas hubs and posts. Your tasks will include identifying and implementing system-related improvements across the procurement lifecycle and enhancing how data, systems, and tools are utilized. You will partner with various teams to drive data quality and ensure that Jaggaer, our eSourcing platform, is configured and fit-for-purpose. Additionally, you will oversee commercial contract transparency reporting, help foster a culture of accountability and responsibility, and act as a change catalyst to promote continuous improvement. Your role will also involve championing and raising the profile of our team at cross-government and industry forums and keeping updated on the latest developments in the field.

This position offers a total package of £46,000 and is a permanent, full-time contract. You will be required to comply with FCDO policies regarding hybrid working, which requires a minimum of 60% in-office attendance.
