Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in driving and leading successful digital transformation focused on Automation, AI, and Machine Learning solutions.
- Demonstrable experience leading technical teams (3+ direct reports) with the ability to set strategy while maintaining team motivation and focus.
- Strong commercial acumen, understanding how digital transformation has a direct financial impact.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels and effectively communicate the transformation story.
- No technical qualification needed, but must understand digital solutions.
- Resilience to overcome setbacks and push forward with initiatives.
- Passion for driving change and digital transformation within businesses.
- Inspirational leadership to engage and excite teams about innovation.
- Pragmatic and dynamic problem-solving skills, focused on solutions.
- Executive maturity to operate and drive change at a senior level.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across customer experience, operations, technology, and commercial strategy to drive over £50m in value over three years.
- Identify, design, and own the multi-year transformation roadmap, influencing organizational performance improvements and business model reinvention.
- Collaborate across all directorates and influence Board-level decisions, while representing the company in industry, media, and public forums.
- Build and guide a team of 40 professionals in Machine Learning, Innovation, Automation, and Technology transformation.
- Drive the organizational adoption of AI strategies to enhance commercial outcomes and performance.
- Deliver a generational digital operational performance system, ensuring effective customer contact transformation and operational efficiency.
- Establish governance, risk, and ethical oversight for AI and automation solutions, while managing a high-performing delivery-focused team.
