Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong technical experience in IT hardware and software, ideally from an IT repair or tech support background. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly over the phone, and be a competent user of PCs, including the Microsoft package. Experience with PC and peripheral equipment (hardware and software) is essential. A professional, logical, and methodical approach to work is required, along with flexibility and a willingness to work outside of normal business hours. Additionally, access to your own transport is necessary due to the location.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be taking calls from customers and providing remote technical vetting and fault rectification on IT equipment. When a remote fix is not possible, you will identify and order parts required by our field service engineering team. You will also provide technical support to field service engineers on a broad range of IT equipment while keeping customers informed at all times about the progress of their work.
Description

The position entails working 37.5 hours per week, with shifts covering a 24/7 basis, including weekends, evenings, and nights (the latter two can be worked from home). Overtime is compensated at 1.5x and 2x rates, with the potential to earn a total salary of approximately £27,000.
