Requirements

Must:
- Degree or equivalent in a computing related subject and/or proof of a solid networking background. - Strong technical knowledge and commercial experience of supporting VoIP & Unified Communications. - Experience with IP PBX - Appliance / Software / Cloud. - Familiarity with Enterprise / (Multi-cell) DECT IP Phone Management / Provisioning. - Good technical knowledge and commercial experience of supporting DSL and WAN routers. - Experience with network switches and VLANs. - Knowledge of firewalls and associated VPN technologies. - Working technical knowledge of current VoIP practices, protocols, and principles. - Ability to analyze logs, SIP traces & PCAP generated from customer equipment. - Adept at reading and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. - Ability to confidently present webinars, training courses, and seminar presentations. - Ability to conduct research into telecommunications issues and products. - Ability to communicate with all levels of the business. - Excellent time management skills, particularly in prioritizing and executing tasks. - Must be free to work in the UK with no Visa or work permit restrictions. - Full/Valid UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical support and guidance in pre-sales activities. - Propose solutions that meet customer requirements, ensuring technical viability. - Demonstrate products and solutions to resellers through visits, seminars, and trade shows. - Help the sales team identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts. - Coordinate and deliver webinars and technical content for demonstrations. - Maintain relationships with suppliers and act as the primary technical contact for UC suppliers. - Provide structured product and technology training for internal staff and external partners. - Run instructor-led training courses to support customer certification. - Promote training courses internally with Sales/Marketing teams and directly with customers. - Manage open support cases through phone and email to resolve technical issues. - Track time against activities for open cases and ensure outstanding tickets are actively managed.
