Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong Java programming skills
- Experience with unit testing (including TDD), Maven, Git, and a sense of humor
- Proficiency with Kubernetes & Docker
- Experience working in a team development environment
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Kafka
- Agile methodology awareness
- Experience with Jira
- Familiarity with Bitbucket
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL + Timescale
- Understanding of Build Systems (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc)
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies
Responsibilities
- Produce efficient code for internal and client-facing systems
- Collaborate with the team on the complete development lifecycle
- Engage in problem-solving for technical challenges faced by customers
- Mentor junior Engineers when necessary
- Work with existing product source code and contribute to overall product architecture
- Collaborate with embedded software developers and the CTO on product innovation
- Participate in client and server development to ensure cohesive architecture
