Requirements
Must:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong communication skills – able to clearly and concisely deliver strategies to stakeholders and wider teams
- Previous experience in mentoring or leading small teams is advantageous
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Databricks and Spark
- Knowledge of Dynamic ADF Pipelines
- Proficient in Spark SQL or other SQL languages
- Familiarity with Azure resources and managing resources in Azure or similar environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or other Git/project management tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling
- Experience with Power BI and DAX
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models, pipelines, and solutions for existing and new data systems
- Work with the Head of and the data team to implement technical solutions that align with the team's data vision
- Orchestrate data migration efforts
- Break down complex problems to implement effective solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve data management issues across teams
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and scientists to identify design and data needs
- Ensure data compliance and security standards are met in system construction
- Perform data validation testing and generate reports on data quality and performance
- Recommend and deploy new technologies and tools for data engineering
Description
We offer a hybrid working opportunity based in South West London, with a compensation package of up to £80,000 per annum along with benefits and bonuses. This position allows you to work 20% on-site and 80% from home.
