Requirements
Must:
- Experience in analysis and design using C# and the .NET framework
- Knowledge of test automation, TDD, DDD, refactoring, and unit testing techniques
- Demonstrable experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments
- Understanding of SOLID principles and T-SQL database design
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React and ORM tools like Entity Framework
- Exposure to agentic AI tools for workflow automation and decision-making (advantageous)
- Knowledge of software architecture and functional programming (commercial experience is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Apply and refine Agile methodologies to design, develop, and deliver new features
- Work collaboratively with the Product Owner to develop a clear understanding of customer requirements
- Translate customer needs into elegant solutions
- Analyse requirements, define specifications, and manage delivery through to completion
- Understand and apply established design patterns and best practices
- Take responsibility for the quality and efficiency of deliverables
- Produce robust code and conduct peer reviews to maintain quality standards
- Embed SOLID principles, TDD, and refactoring as core practices
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and innovation
- Integrate sustainable thinking into development
