Requirements
Must:
- I must have shunting experience.
- I hold a valid HGV Class 1 license.
- I have previous driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
- I have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- I possess good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- I shuttle trailers between the main site and off-site parking locations.
- I ensure safe and timely transportation of trailers.
- I perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- I comply with all transport regulations and company policies.
- My typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with start times varying from 4 PM onwards.
Description
I am looking for an experienced Class 1 shunter driver to join our team ideally on a full-time basis, with flexibility to work 4 out of 7 days. The position offers ongoing work with a well-known parcel delivery company. Pay rates start at £21.24 per hour, increasing to £23.80 after 12 weeks. We provide a competitive pay rate and a supportive working environment, along with benefits such as free on-site parking. I want to hear from you if you’re an experienced HGV Class 1 driver seeking a new opportunity! You will be required to answer if you can travel to the AL10 area and have at least one year of class 1 shunting experience. Driver CPC and C1 driving license certifications are preferred. The work location is in person.
