Requirements
Must:
- Proven IT support experience (minimum 2 years)
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure
- Experience installing and configuring hardware peripherals
- Valid driving license
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional communication skills
- Printer/MFP experience (but we are willing to train the right candidate)
- Experience with print management software or PaperCut (full training provided)
- Windows Server knowledge
- Active Directory experience
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
Responsibilities
- Install and configure printers within client networks
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and printing issues
- Set up print servers and manage print queues
- Configure user access and security settings
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Document technical configurations and solutions
- Train staff on basic troubleshooting procedures
- Liaise with IT departments to ensure smooth integration
- Manage driver installations across different operating systems
- Provide remote support when on-site visits aren't needed
Description

While experience with printers is a bonus, we are happy to provide comprehensive training on our printing solutions and Managed Print Service software. Your strong IT background and technical aptitude will be vital as you ensure seamless functioning of clients' printing infrastructure. In this role, you will become our technical expert in the field, working closely with our Client Success team and visiting schools and offices to install, configure, and maintain printing equipment. Your networking knowledge will be essential for integrating our solutions and troubleshooting any connectivity issues. We value building positive teams, delighting customers with service, and maintaining integrity in our actions. This full-time, permanent position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, comprehensive training, and opportunities for professional development. You can expect a salary between £27,500.00 and £32,000.00 per year, along with benefits such as a company pension, company events, and convenient transport links. Please note that candidates must already have the right to work in the UK, as we do not offer sponsorship.
