Requirements
Must:
- Be an experienced legal IT Trainer with at least 3 years experience or in a similar role.
- Work collaboratively within a team, supporting the objectives for the training team.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to engage with partners, fee earners, and support staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience.
- Flexible, customer-focused approach with initiative in resolving issues.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously but seek assistance when needed.
- Experience in the development of training courses and support materials.
- Passion for assisting and developing others.
- Experience with Document Management Systems (e.g. iManage/WorkSite), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, M365, M365 Copilot, Windows 10/11, time recording systems (e.g. Intapp Time), InterAction, Mimecast, and video editing software (e.g. Camtasia or Captivate) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and professional induction training to new colleagues across standard and customized applications.
- Deliver upskilling programs aimed at raising skill levels across the firm.
- Support the delivery of rollouts for new or updated software or systems.
- Design new courses and programs to align with assigned projects.
- Participate in regular floor walking or provide at-desk or screen-sharing support as needed.
- Create and maintain user documentation or videos to support induction courses or upskilling programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing technologies and learn new systems as required.
- Contribute ideas to initiatives and innovations and improve documented processes.
- Analyze the quality and effectiveness of training to meet evolving business needs.
- Assist the IT Service Desk in resolving queries logged to the training team and undertake ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing training requests, scheduling, course bookings, and attendance records.
