Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a professional services environment (law firm experience highly desirable) - Strong understanding of legal operations, workflows, and law firm business services - Demonstrated experience supporting transformation programmes, ideally including technology implementations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear documentation - Skilled in process mapping (e.g., BPMN), requirement gathering, and stakeholder management - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience working with data visualisation or reporting tools (desirable) - Exposure to legal project management, continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), or operating model design (desirable) - Understanding of change management principles (desirable) - Highly organised with strong attention to detail - Collaborative and approachable, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams - Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Confident facilitating discussions and challenging the status quo in a constructive way - A can-do mindset with a focus on delivering quality outcomes

Responsibilities

- Gather, document, and validate business requirements across business services areas - Analyse current-state processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities - Map as-is and design to-be workflows, incorporating efficiency, automation, and user-centric design - Support business case development, including ROI modelling and impact analysis - Work with the business transformation team to support day-to-day project activities and delivery cycles - Respond to user requests and troubleshoot issues while maintaining data integrity in digital systems - Contribute to project artefacts including plans, RAID logs, testing scripts, and progress reports - Participate in UAT, change readiness assessments, training support, and post-go-live reviews - Act as a liaison between teams across business services, ensuring alignment and effective communication - Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to elicit business needs and validate solutions - Build strong working relationships at partner, director, and operational levels - Support data analysis, reporting, and insights that inform transformation decisions - Work with data owners to improve data quality, governance, and consistency across systems - Identify and recommend improvements to processes, systems, and controls across the firm - Contribute to the development of improved business services structures and Target Operating Models - Promote a culture of operational excellence and innovation
