Requirements

- Valid HGV Class 1 driving license
- Proven experience as a commercial driver
- Familiarity with curtain sider transportation
- Strong delivery driver experience
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Good communication and time management skills

Responsibilities
- I will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for transportation of goods.
- I will ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- I will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
- I will load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- I will maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
- I will provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Description
Due to our increasing workload, we are looking for HGV Class 1 (Category CE) drivers to join our team based in Beelsby, North Lincolnshire. We need trampers to work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. The majority of our work involves general haulage on curtain sided trailers. While ADR certification would be beneficial, it is not a necessity. We operate a modern fleet of 35 articulated vehicles, including Volvo, DAF, and Renault. Job Type: Full-time Pay: £13.75-£19.00 per hour Expected hours: 60 – 70 per week Additional pay includes a bonus scheme. Benefits include a company pension and sick pay. Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend availability. Work Location: On the road.
