Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of data modelling
- Strong knowledge of data engineering
- Strong knowledge of data design
- Excellent knowledge of Databricks
- Excellent knowledge of Performant SQL
- Experience analysing complex business problems
- Excellent knowledge of the SDLC, including testing and delivery in an agile environment
- Excellent knowledge of ETL
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions
- Good experience working in an agile environment
Responsibilities
- Work with the Data Architects and Data team to determine technical delivery and functionality
- Design data solutions based on optimal performance, scalability and reliability
- Create, optimise and maintain logical and physical data models, including data warehouses and data lakes
- Design and manage the data integration process
- Work with the team to improve their skills and knowledge through mentoring, training, and coaching
- Contribute as a member of the agile team
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and BAs to understand the data needs of the business
Description
We are an expanding SaaS product company looking for several Senior Data Engineers as we continue to grow. Our hands-on team is responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our data assets while guiding and influencing other members of the data engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join us as we expand our data team, where you will use your technical and soft skills to further develop the team. The role is home-based with one day a month at our office in Nottingham, offering a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits.
