Must:
- Proven ability to resolve common end user issues across Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, and networking basics with clear, empathetic communication
- Practical experience applying Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), hardening mail & collaboration tools, and keeping endpoints protected and compliant
- Hands-on experience with Intune/Windows Update for Business (or similar), monitoring compliance and remediating failed updates
- Good verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with all staff types
- Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Experience in a range of systems and software, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender suite, basic scripting/automation (PowerShell) for routine tasks (desirable)
- Understanding of ITIL-aligned service management and change control (desirable)

Responsibilities
- Deliver first- and second-line helpdesk support via the helpdesk, walk-ups, and remote assistance; triage, resolve, and escalate incidents and requests within agreed SLAs
- Ensure all calls are logged and tracked via the helpdesk system
- Maintain end-user devices (hardware and software) to the highest standards with minimal disruption
- Provide general Venue IT support, including setup for rooms and events with IT/AV basics
- Complete relevant cyber security actions and checklists aligned with organisational policies
- Monitor Microsoft Secure Score and recommend improvements while tracking actions
- Undertake device patching & update management applying the organisations patching schedule
- Keep accurate records for device inventory, ownership, lifecycle state, and configuration profiles
- Provide friendly coaching on IT usage and promote cyber security awareness
- Engage actively with the organisations vision regarding equality and inclusion
- Contribute to training and development activities, supporting training programmes on site and off site
