Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a senior Business Systems or ERP-focused role
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Ability to act as a technical escalation point
- Experience in providing 2nd and 3rd line support
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking across support, improvement, and project activity
- Ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Familiarity with documentation, change control, and continuous improvement processes
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Business Systems
- Act as a point of escalation for Business Systems Engineers
- Own configuration and validate solutions
- Support users and ensure systems meet evolving business needs
- Diagnose and resolve complex Business Systems and ERP issues
- Maintain and configure core systems
- Produce reports and manage data interfaces
- Contribute to ERP upgrade activities, including testing and user training
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate business processes
- Maintain high-quality process and technical documentation
- Support month-end and frequency-based ERP activities
- Attend operational sites as required
Description
We are excited to support one of our clients in the appointment of a Senior Business Systems Engineer within their Business Systems function. This key role is integral as they enhance and modernise their ERP and systems landscape. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering an ongoing ERP upgrade and will be part of a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
