Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience configuring and developing on the Salesforce platform with at least 5 years’ experience building Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC) using Apex - At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working with OmniStudio - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - At least 3 Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, OmniStudio Developer, Agentforce Specialist, and Platform App Builder - Expert-level proficiency in building Aura and Lightning Web Components using Apex with high proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customisation - Strong expertise in creating technical designs for Salesforce solutions, working collaboratively with architects - Advanced proficiency in version control using Git, demonstrating mastery in branching, merging, and resolving conflicts - Extensive experience with Salesforce deployment tools, including Salesforce CLI, Salesforce DX, Copado, or Gearset - Familiarity with Salesforce Flow Builder to automate business processes using minimal code - Proficiency in writing and optimising SOQL and SOSL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation - Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team - Strong proficiency with Salesforce data management tools, including Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and Workbench - Experience using Salesforce Inspector or similar tools for debugging and inspecting metadata - Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, including minimising custom code and leveraging out-of-the-box functionality - Experience working with a mature Salesforce organisation and addressing technical debt - Ability to mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of financial services governance and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

- Design and document technical solutions in collaboration with architects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and platform best practices - Configure and customise Salesforce solutions, prioritising out-of-the-box functionality to minimise custom code - Develop and maintain Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC) using Apex to deliver robust, high-quality features while leveraging OmniStudio to build and enhance business processes and user experiences - Take full accountability for the quality and delivery of solutions, from development through to production deployment - Mentor and guide junior team members, encouraging their technical growth and understanding of Salesforce best practices - Contribute to test case development and execute tests to ensure high-quality deliverables - Address technical debt encountered during fixes, enhancements, or new development - Adhere to strict governance processes to ensure compliance with financial services regulations and internal standards - Utilise Salesforce data management tools to perform data imports, exports, and queries as part of solution development and maintenance - Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to support team delivery
