Requirements
Must:
- A genuine interest in IT with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills.
- Knowledge of basic IT systems and applications, particularly Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner with the confidence to help users at all levels.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Delivering excellent customer service, including face-to-face support for walk-in queries.
- Managing orders and stockroom requests accurately using OneApp.
- Logging and tracking issues using ServiceNow, ensuring detailed records are kept.
- Assisting with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of IT equipment and software.
- Scheduling and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime for users.
- Supporting digital transformation initiatives, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity improvements.
- Balancing work responsibilities while actively studying towards your apprenticeship qualification.
