Must:
- We require you to be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
- We require strong experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform, with exposure to Azure and/or GCP.
- We require end-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
- We require experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- We require strong Linux-based scripting and automation skills.
- We require hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable.
- We require experience with identity and access management solutions such as Azure AD and Keycloak.
- We require knowledge of secure networking, including certificates and tokens.
- We require experience with code scanning tools such as SonarQube.
- We require solid experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes.
- We require experience with microservices, serverless, and edge architectures.
- We require strong capability across APIs, including REST and gRPC, and event-driven systems such as Kafka and MQTT.
- We require familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic.
- We require the ability to apply SRE principles to improve reliability, uptime, and performance.
- We require the ability to script and automate using Python or similar languages such as Rust.
- We require experience mentoring others and acting as a technical leader.
- Experience with GPU or container workloads is desirable.
Responsibilities
- We drive DevSecOps best practice across the full software development life cycle.
- We design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- We apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve uptime and performance.
- We support live operational systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- We collaborate across engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
- We act as technical leaders and mentors, helping teams adopt modern DevSecOps approaches.
- We work on securely updating deployed systems in sensitive environments.
- We work on scaling and maintaining resilient platforms under operational pressure.
- We apply DevSecOps and SRE principles to mission-critical systems.
Description
We are a leading UK technology and engineering organisation at the forefront of national security, defence, and advanced innovation. We deliver mission-critical solutions that give our customers a decisive information advantage in complex, high-stakes environments. This is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite, and the successful candidate must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. You will join a specialist team working across cloud, security, automation, and AI/ML operations, tackling some of the most challenging problems in modern technology.
