Must:
- Proven Unix/Linux support and admin experience
- Proficiency in Solaris (10 & 11, ideally 8 & 9) and Linux (Red Hat)
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Experience with Ansible, Docker/Mirantis/Podman, and VMware tools (VROPS is a bonus)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to translate technical details for non-technical users
- Sole UK nationals only
- Must be SC clearance eligible
- Ability to work on-site in Bristol 5 days a week

Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support Unix/Linux systems in production and development environments
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and system alerts in line with SLAs
- Perform patching, updates, and routine system checks to optimize performance and security
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues for end-users
- Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and adhere to security best practices
- Write scripts (Bash/Python) to automate processes and improve efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Provide on-call support on a rota basis
