Must:
I am looking for a proven leader with experience as a Head of IT, IT Manager, or IT Director within a manufacturing or industrial setting. You should have strong knowledge of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, ITIL, and supplier governance. Experience working with offshore or managed service partners is essential. I value a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery; you will need to set direction while being willing to roll up your sleeves. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with board-level executives are also important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and develop a small internal IT team, initially consisting of two direct reports, while also managing offshore and outsourced partners. You will own the IT strategy, service delivery, and infrastructure for approximately 150 users across both office and shop floor environments. Maintaining and enhancing Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 compliance across systems, policies, and processes will be one of your key priorities. You will implement ITIL-aligned service management practices to ensure stability and uptime, oversee suppliers, contracts, and budgets, all while ensuring value and performance. Additionally, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive efficiency, resilience, and innovation through technology.
