Requirements
Must:
- Strong 2nd line / desktop support background
- Experience with Windows 10/7 (build, config, registry)
- Proficiency in SCCM (OS & app deployment, support)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Outlook / Exchange
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Understanding of desktop security (BitLocker, NTFS permissions, etc.)
- Full driving licence
- Must be 21 (insurance requirement)
- SC Clearance eligibility required (5 years UK residency)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for end users in a complex environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems
- Support deployment and maintenance of applications via SCCM
- Assist users with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Exchange issues
- Maintain desktop security measures, including BitLocker and NTFS permissions
- Specialize in VDI and endpoint security as required
- Collaborate with the team to enhance virtual desktop performance
- Engage in user support within virtualized environments
Description
We are hiring multiple Onsite Workplace Engineers to support a large, secure environment in Barrow-in-Furness.
