Must:
We seek a Shopify Developer with proven programming experience in Shopify, including Shopify Checkout extensibility, custom apps, and Shopify Functions. You should have experience using Liquid files, as well as proficiency in React, Vue, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, GraphQL, and Ruby. Experience with APIs and Webhooks is a must, along with knowledge of UX/UI best practices and the ability to replicate designs provided in Figma. Additionally, you should be familiar with Git for version control and collaboration, have experience with Azure services and cloud services, and know cookie consent management tools such as Cookiebot, OneTrust, or Consentmo (Shopify app). Familiarity with GTM, GA4, pixel tracking, and dataLayer push events, as well as accessibility, GDPR, and ADA compliance is essential. Understanding the software development life cycle, testing principles, and project methodologies will also be beneficial. We are looking for someone capable of working independently.
Responsibilities
As our Shopify Developer, I will expect you to provide daily technical support for our global e-commerce operations, maintain our platform, implement new features, improve performance, and deliver projects in close collaboration with our Senior Digital Manager and E-commerce Delivery Manager. You will work closely with the E-commerce Delivery Manager to support our e-commerce and e-commerce-related integrations and projects. It is crucial that you deliver well-structured, well-designed, and accessible code that is easy to read, reuse, and maintain. You will need to be available to switch between a variety of projects as needed, as well as provide technical troubleshooting, debugging, and support.
