We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable development experience in C, C#, C++, SQL, and MVC within Visual Studio. Strong proficiency in SQL querying, reporting, stored procedures, and database optimizations is essential. You should have applied knowledge of JSON and XML data structures, along with proven desktop development experience in a Windows environment. Experience using Git and JIRA for version control and tracking support tickets is required. Additionally, experience configuring and implementing ERP systems is highly advantageous, as well as previous hands-on experience with web development languages and frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, HTML, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop robust and future-proof integrations using C, C# .NET, APIs, SQL, and MVC frameworks within Visual Studio. You will design, develop, and deploy integration solutions that connect our automation platforms with customer ERP and business systems. You will also work on internal projects to enhance and modernize our seamless integrations through the development of API-driven solutions. Supporting the maintenance of legacy systems as part of the development team will be necessary, as well as maintaining and enhancing Windows-based desktop applications (WinForms, WPF, and VB.NET legacy systems). Collaboration with customers and internal teams to scope, design, and deliver integration projects will be key. Additionally, you’ll build and maintain scalable data solutions leveraging SQL, XML, and JSON, debug, optimize, and deploy performance-tuned applications, produce accurate technical documentation, and ensure all digital information is stored correctly. Occasional travel across the UK and overseas to customer sites to support the wider team with on-site commissioning and configuration delivery may also be required.

Following a recent company merger and exciting customer growth on a global scale, we are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to join our rapidly evolving software development team. You can expect a generous starting salary of up to £50,000, plus a non-contractual annual bonus scheme, private healthcare, flexible working options, paid overtime, and genuine opportunities for progression. Please note that this is a full-time, office-based role, with occasional opportunities to attend client sites for expert software integration support during the system commissioning phase. Once settled in the role, there will be an opportunity to exercise a hybrid working option after a period of 6-12 months. Due to the nature of the role and our global client base, you will be required to complete weekly ‘out of hours’ overtime, which is paid at £200 per shift. If you complete up to five overtime shifts per month, you could earn an additional £1400 on top of your basic monthly wage. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and this position is full-time and permanent based in Nottingham.
