Requirements
Must:
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Experience with service provider networks
- Knowledge of MPLS and L3 VPN
- Familiarity with routing protocols (including IS-IS, BGP, OSPF)
- Understanding of switching protocols (preferably VRRP, VPLS, Dot1Q, QinQ)
Responsibilities
- Work on projects focused on maintaining existing infrastructure and introducing service improvements and automation
- Act as a senior technical escalation point within the Core Network Operations team for faults and network changes
- Provide technical support for the development, implementation, and administration of new and existing services
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of technology products and services
- Interface with multiple areas of technology and various departments to support the implementation of new solutions and products
- Collaborate directly with teams including the Service Desk and Implementation teams as needed
