Requirements
Must:
- A BEng/BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in computing or a computing-related subject, or an alternative qualification with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in ADA and C++ programming languages.
- Familiarity with embedded software development and real-time systems.
- Experience with software design documentation and standards compliance (e.g., DO-178C, MISRA, DEF STAN 00-55).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software using ADA/C++.
- I will produce, review, and maintain software design documentation, test artefacts, and associated technical deliverables.
- I will conduct peer reviews of software code, designs, and test cases to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- I will plan and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing activities.
- I will develop reusable software modules and support the continuous improvement of development practices.
- I will ensure all software and documentation align with Defence and industry standards.
- I will manage requirements traceability, configuration control, and software versioning in accordance with project processes.
- I will support software debugging, maintenance, and enhancement throughout the lifecycle.
