Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or an equivalent is preferred.
- Additional courses or certifications in Quality Assurance will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- I will oversee the creation of a Test Strategy that encompasses End to End testing, Regression, and UAT testing phases.
- I will create Test scripts for both phases, ensuring full traceability to requirements.
- My role includes executing testing during E2E and Regression phases.
- I will provide QA oversight on the system testing carried out by the SI partner.
- I will liaise with business stakeholders during the UAT phase to help document progress and capture defects on Jira.
- I will manage the defect dashboards on Jira and provide Management Information (MI) as required.
- I will lead daily triage calls and work closely with the BA and Dev teams to ensure that defects are correctly prioritized and resolved.
- It's important to me that business users understand their role during UAT.
- I will collaborate with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to assist with business readiness activities.
- I will assist the automation test team in creating automated test scripts for regression testing.
- I will support the business users during the post go-live warranty period by helping log issues and managing the backlog.
- I will document risks and issues to ensure these are communicated to the Project Manager and managed to closure.

I am seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Consultant with hands-on experience in Guidewire and a strong background in the insurance sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of core insurance platforms, supporting the delivery of high-performing, customer-centric solutions.
