Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in writing and managing technical requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Dassault TRM, IBM DOORS)
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model development processes
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in an engineering discipline
Responsibilities
- Translate electrical power targets into clear, actionable engineering requirements
- Maintain ownership throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring traceability and compliance
- Develop and maintain test cases to validate requirements
- Ensure alignment with validation and testing teams
- Act as the primary liaison for electrical efficiency across engineering functions
- Ensure consistent understanding and implementation of requirements
- Track and assess the impact of changes on current and future vehicle programs
- Lead updates to requirements and communicate changes effectively
Description
We are Expleo, seeking a passionate and influential Lead Requirements Engineer to join our Vehicle Efficiency team in the Midlands for an initial 12-month contract. This role focuses on enhancing electrical efficiency across all powertrain variants. We value someone who can champion the customer perspective and drive alignment across engineering functions. While deep technical expertise in efficiency isnt essential, strong systems thinking and stakeholder engagement are key attributes we look for in our team members.
