Requirements
Must:
- Good understanding of OOPS, Core JAVA, and Advanced JAVA
- Hands-on experience with REST API, Spring Boot, Spring Core, and Microservices
- Basic understanding of Microservices-based architecture and design patterns
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, SOAP, JUnit, Oracle, Jenkins, Nexus, JBoss/Tomcat, Git, and Linux/UNIX shell scripting
- Familiarity with JIRA and Exec API
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as OpenShift V3, AWS, or Spring Cloud (preferable)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API requirements
- Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing APIs and services
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Java and cloud technologies.
Description
We are looking for a Java API Developer for a contract role based in Knutsford, with a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week onsite.
