FinOps Engineer

- Proven experience partnering with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive cost-efficiency across Azure. - A solid understanding of Fin Ops principles and their application to engineering responsibilities. - Ability to design and implement automation to enhance cost optimization. - Proficiency in building infrastructure and pipelines using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Git, Terraform, and Harness. - Familiarity with Azure Billing and Cost Management. - Experience in Agile working practices, including tools like Jira and Confluence. - Skill in contributing to cost visibility by leveraging cost and usage data for self-service reporting. - Commitment to driving sustainable usage practices, such as terminating idle resources and implementing autoscaling. - Capability to translate technical decisions into cost impacts and to effectively communicate trade-offs to customers. - Collaboration skills to work with teams for embedding cost-awareness into design, development, deployment, and monitoring practices.
