As the hiring company, we are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect or a Solutions Designer eager to step into an Architect role within a secure organization that has a renowned legacy in the charity and non-profit environment. You should have significant experience in delivering solutions level architecture, particularly in handling legacy systems. A strong background in mobile, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions is essential. Additionally, experience with DevOps and agile project and product management is expected. Familiarity with supporting procurement of DDAT Architecture and collaborating with third-party technical and application architects is important. Desirable experience includes public sector knowledge (Government, Education, Local Councils, MoJ, MoD, and Transport), Azure certifications (DP-203, DP-600), understanding of data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, and integration to D365 and Dataverse solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to design the technical architecture for all systems and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with our technology roadmap and principles. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the solution architecture that aligns with our strategy and business goals. This will involve initiating concepts, scoping projects, designing solutions, and transforming our operations to the cloud. You will scope project needs and requirements to build relevant solutions underpinned by a common data model, working closely with key stakeholders across the charity. I also expect you to lead stakeholder engagement and have a robust understanding of the operations and activities carried out by the charity.

This is a hybrid role based in one of our regional locations: London, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, or Bristol, with a salary range of £65,000 to £68,000 per annum.
