Must:
We are seeking a Suitable Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 9, secure network architecture, and software development environments. The ideal candidate must have experience implementing LDAP, SELinux, Splunk, RDP or VNC, Eclipse C++ Development IDE & plugins, and anti-malware tools. Proficiency in configuring switch, firewall, NAS, and other network devices, along with the setup of RHEL subscription and update services within a secure NIST-based framework is essential.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include deriving detailed use cases and designs from high-level requirements, implementing and testing the local development environment, and integrating it with the corporate restricted network and services. Local network maintenance instructions must also be developed. As part of the task package, you will provide documentary output deliverables. Progress will be tracked through weekly meetings, and monthly summary reports detailing progress, blockers, dependencies, and any delays will be required. You will predominantly work on-site, with the option for remote work on documentation tasks as permitted by the Engineering Manager.
Description
In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Navigation Team Network Administrator and the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) team, to ensure seamless integration of the new development network with the Systems restricted network and services. The scope of your work will focus on the local development Linux (RHEL) network, while the CAPgemini team will manage the restricted corporate network and firewall.
