Desktop Support Engineer - Shurton

In my role as an employer, I expect you to oversee our IT systems and assets while providing support and training as needed. Your key responsibilities will include: - Serving new commercial sites with network installation and ensuring site connectivity. - Addressing workplace support and IT issues for commercial sites. - Acting as an IT concierge service, offering skilled troubleshooting for all open IT issues. - Responding to issues via phone, email, in person, or online chat. - Determining the best troubleshooting solutions based on issues reported by customers. - Walking customers through troubleshooting and problem-solving processes. - Being the focal point for customer interaction on all local IT issues, including client services, mobility, wireless, AV, and conference room setups. - Maintaining and resolving open incidents in the ticket queue promptly. - Partnering with the Digital Workplace Solutions Team on new technology introduction projects. - Providing onsite support for other IT teams. - Ensuring compliance with business policies and IT security standards. - Delivering a customer service-oriented approach for IT support issues. - Analyzing and resolving complex hardware and software issues. - Acting as a resource for customers regarding Digital Workplace Team policies and procedures. - Establishing working relationships with customers and identifying solutions to problems. - Communicating technical information effectively to all levels of the organization. - Participating as an active member of various teams. - Performing additional duties as specified by the leadership team.
