Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Information Security with a focus directly on Identity & Access Management.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of core IAM domains (IGA, PAM, Authentication, and Authorization).
- Familiarity with modern threat landscape related to identity, including common identity-based attack vectors, TTPs, and threat actors.
- Experience with cloud identity platforms and security models (AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, Google Cloud IAM).
- Experience with IAM governance principles, including policy/standard development and control design.
- Experience working with security operations, incident response, or threat intelligence teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) for all IAM-related inquiries during security investigations, incidents, and potential breaches.
- Participate in incident response war rooms and technical bridges to provide real-time IAM expertise and analysis.
- Coordinate and orchestrate response activities across all IAM functions to ensure swift remediation.
- Assist the CFC in identifying and containing threats by directing IAM-related actions.
- Attend daily CFC operational meetings to share updates on developments in the threat environment specific to IAM.
- Develop and refine IAM-centric detection use cases and queries for security monitoring systems in partnership with the CFC.
- Use insights from CFC engagements and threat intelligence to help inform and design IAM policies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current IAM capabilities and limitations to inform CFC investigations and strategies.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and contribute IAM-specific findings to root cause analysis reports.
