Requirements
Must:
- Pharma and data protection experience
- Knowledge of data regulations, privacy, GDPR or similar with scientific and/or clinical acumen
- At least 4 years proven experience implementing healthcare data regulations
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory frameworks to business operations
- Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical implementation strategies
Responsibilities
- Implement new US Data Security Rule across R&D
- Support R&D users in their understanding of the Rule
- Provide consultation to ensure R&Ds approach to the regulation is appropriate
- Collaborate to establish guidance, communication material and AI tooling to support users
- Provide hands-on day-to-day support for scientists and clinical teams in R&D
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, following up on required actions to solve challenges
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying and solving problems, determining which require senior legal input
Description
We are Exalto Consulting, seeking a contract Data Protection Specialist focused on US data security within our R&D team. This position is fully remote, outside of IR35, and runs until the end of 2026. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, helping navigate regulatory challenges and ensuring compliance with the highest standards.
