Requirements
Must:
- Active and current SC Clearance
- UK Residency
- UK passport
- Proficiency in Python, specifically with applied machine learning
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Knowledge of data exploration and quality techniques, including EDA and visualization (matplotlib/plotly)
- Experience with labeling workflows and quality assurance
- Ability to build reproducible pre-processing and training pipelines
- Familiarity with experiment tracking tools like MLflow and/or Weights & Biases
- Competence in version control using Git, with experience in dataset/versioned artifacts management
- Bonus: Signal processing experience related to sonar/acoustics
Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge machine learning projects for a large government department
- Collaborate with a talented team to achieve project milestones
- Conduct data exploration and visualize datasets to ensure quality
- Engage in hands-on annotation and QA of labeling workflows
- Build and maintain reproducible data preprocessing and training pipelines
- Track experiments effectively using MLflow and/or Weights & Biases
- Implement good version control practices and manage datasets accordingly
- Ensure high-quality code and documentation to facilitate collaborative efforts
Description
We are a pioneering company operating at the forefront of machine learning, providing critical advancements for a large government department. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, with occasional travel to our offices in the North and South of the UK, as well as customer sites.
