Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience as an Application Support Developer or in a support-led development role
- Comfort working on bugs, tickets, and small fixes rather than large feature builds
- Experience supporting live production systems
- Confidence debugging legacy code and mixed technology stacks
- Strong SQL skills for investigation and fixes
- Calm, methodical approach to problem solving
Responsibilities
- Work in a Kanban-style environment, managing tickets raised through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support
- Investigate, fix, and resolve production issues
- Make small targeted code changes to improve system stability
- Support and maintain multiple applications
- Investigate data and reporting issues across a mixed and legacy technology estate
- Collaborate closely with support teams and other developers
Description
We are recruiting a Senior Application Support Developer to join our technology team responsible for maintaining and supporting a large, business-critical application estate. This is primarily an application support role focused on resolving bugs, handling tickets, and delivering small, incremental fixes. We offer a hybrid working pattern with two days per week onsite in West Yorkshire, alongside a competitive package including a £65,000 base salary and a £6,000 car allowance, plus up to a 10% bonus.
