Must:
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with at least five years of experience in AI or ML engineering, preferably within a SaaS or industrial technology environment. Strong Python development skills are essential, with proficiency in using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LangChain. You should have proven experience deploying production AI systems on Azure, which includes pipelines, CI/CD, and model management. Familiarity with LLM orchestration, vector databases, and OCR is required, along with an understanding of MLOps principles and data engineering practices. You must be confident in collaborating across .NET and React environments to deliver production-ready features. A problem solver with curiosity, creativity, and a commercial mindset is essential. Advantageous experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or asset management systems would be a plus.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the design and development of AI-powered features such as intelligent parts search, digital twins, procurement agents, and predictive maintenance insights. You will build and productionise LLM-driven agents and workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel. Additionally, you will integrate AI functionality with existing systems that include .NET, React, and Azure. Developing and managing data pipelines and model training processes for classification, optimisation, and knowledge graph applications will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure AI systems are secure, scalable, and reliable in production. Researching, evaluating, and adopting emerging AI tools and frameworks to maintain a leading technical edge will be key, along with mentoring engineers and supporting the recruitment and development of a small AI and ML team as our organisation grows.
