Requirements
Must:
- 8–12 years of IT experience, including 3–5 years in architecture or senior technical leadership.
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply‑chain, logistics, or warehousing environments.
- Proven ability to produce high‑level designs and architectural artefacts.
- Experience leading or governing large, complex programmes.
- Background in transitioning from legacy platforms to modern, cloud‑based architectures.
- Experience working across Infrastructure, Data, and Security domains.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed organisations.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction for the entire organisation while producing high-quality solution designs for key programmes and initiatives.
- Shape and govern the organisations technology landscape, ensuring coherence, scalability, and security.
- Ensure application and technology decisions integrate effectively with core operational systems, including manufacturing execution, warehousing, and supply-chain platforms.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, turning business goals into architectural strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Resolve complex issues and risks that span multiple functions and business areas as part of delegated authority.
Description
At Exalto Consulting, we are supporting a leading manufacturing and supply-chain organisation in the appointment of an Enterprise Architect for a 6-month fixed term contract. This senior role combines strategic architectural leadership with hands-on solution architecture delivery, enabling you to influence and shape the organisations technology landscape. We value the ability to operate both strategically and practically, ensuring that technology decisions enhance operational performance and future readiness across complex environments. This position is remote with travel to sites across the UK.
